Help! I’m Trapped in a Nutshell!

Hi. I am an actor, a culinarian, and a writer currently living in NYC.

I completed my acting training at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where I studied the Meisner technique for three years. I also studied at Stonestreet Film Studios’ residency program and at the Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute where I focused on film acting and techniques. I have minors in philosophy and politics and can talk your ear off about how philosophy, politics, and drama are entwined.

Now let’s get to the more personal stuff.

I don’t spend my leisurely time like a typical 22 year old. When I was 6 years old, I developed a fascination with vacuum cleaners; I got one for Christmas and my birthday every year for 4 years, and my 9th birthday party was in an Oreck store. We lined up all the vacuums, from least to most expensive, and tested how many sweeps it’d take for each one to suck up the same pile of dirt.

I am a “culinarian” — I use that term to describe myself because cook sounds too casual, but chef feels too professional, considering I’ve never had any formal training.

I’m not interested in celebrities or award ceremonies. I’m interested in life. A relentless curiosity about the world around me is what fuels me as an actor.

My favorite show is Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. I was an attorney and character witness on the Mock Trial Team at NYU. One of my dreams is to write and star in a legal drama.
